What is a star bag?
A star bag is a handbag cut in the outline of a five-point star rather than a rectangle or a bucket. The jelli.world Star Tote is a flat, unstructured star measuring 55 × 50 cm point to point, with a shoulder-drop handle cut straight into the top edge so it hangs square against you. It comes in Acid Yellow smooth leather (053) and Cobalt Blue suede (054), £145 each.
What fits in a star shaped bag?
More than the outline suggests. The usable body of the Star Tote is the central pentagon plus the two lower points, which together take a 13-inch laptop, an A4 folder, a water bottle and a paperback. The upper points stay flat, so tall items sit in the middle rather than in the arms of the star. It's a real tote, not a novelty clutch.

What is the jelly bag made of? Is it vegan?
Jelly bags are made from TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) or PVC (polyvinyl chloride) — both synthetic plastics, not leather. No animal-derived materials are used, so they are vegan. TPU is firmer and more abrasion- and UV-resistant and can be translucent or opaque; PVC is opaque with a softer, glossier hand-feel.
TPU or PVC — which jelly bag is better?
TPU is the firmer, more hard-wearing option: more abrasion- and UV-resistant, and it can be translucent for that see-through look. PVC is softer and glossier with a more saturated, opaque finish. jelli.world makes both: the TPU line in translucent and opaque colours, and a PVC line at a lower price for the softer, higher-shine look. Neither plastic uses leather and both are wipe-clean — the one exception in the range is the Star Tote, which is real leather and suede rather than a jelly bag.
Are jelly bags waterproof?
TPU and PVC are both water-resistant plastics — rain, spills and a splash at the beach or pool wipe straight off, and the bags won't stain or water-mark like leather. They aren't sealed dry-bags, so don't submerge them, but for everyday weather they shrug off water completely.
How much does a jelly bag cost?
The jelly baguette is £70, the East West / Shoulder bag is £70 in TPU or £40 in PVC, and the bucket bag is £90 in TPU or £50 in PVC. PVC is on a 3-for-2: buy any three PVC bags and the cheapest is free, applied automatically in the cart. Buy a bucket, East West or Star Tote and you can add one baguette for £10. Plush animal bag charms — soft polyester characters (Cocoa Cub, Marmalade Mew, Pippin Chick, Noodle Pup and Pickle Duck), each with a long neck that wraps around a bag handle, no clips needed. £7.99 each, or £5.99 added to any bag. There's also an apple mirror charm with a real glass mirror.

The baguette comes in Mint and Nude Pink; the TPU East West / Shoulder in Black, Translucent Pink, Pistachio, Neon Orange, Purple, White and Mint, with a PVC East West line in Lime, Ice, Orange, Pink, Capri, Yellow, Turquoise and Nude; the TPU bucket in a rotating set of translucent and opaque colours (Translucent Pink, Tiffany, Mint, Olive, Tomato, Pistachio and more); and the PVC bucket in Mint, White, Apple Green, Peach, Baby Blue, Magenta, Yellow, Turquoise, Capri, Orange and Light Pink. Shipping is free to the UK, £12 to Europe, £15 to the Gulf (Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman and Qatar), a flat £30 to the rest of the world, and £50 to the British Virgin Islands and US Virgin Islands. Door to door from the day you order: UK about 3 business days, Europe and the rest of the world 6–11 business days, Virgin Islands 8–15 business days — that includes the next-business-day hand-pack and dispatch (the made-to-order Star Tote adds its own 14-day window).
Will I pay customs duties or import taxes?
It depends on your country, and any import charges are the buyer's responsibility. Two examples at the ends of the spectrum: orders to Australia under A$1,000 typically clear customs with no extra charges, so the price you see plus shipping is what you pay; Brazil, by contrast, commonly applies a federal import tax plus state ICMS to international parcels on arrival, which can add meaningfully to the total — please factor that in before ordering. Yes — everything shown on jelli.world is in stock. Each bag is hand-packed and ships the next business day with tracking. From order to door that means about 3 business days in the UK and 6–11 business days everywhere else (Virgin Islands 8–15 business days). The one exception is the made-to-order Star Tote, which is dispatched within 14 days.
What is the return policy?
jelli.world offers a 14-day return window from the date of delivery, in line with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Items must be unused and in original condition. Return postage is the customer's responsibility unless the item is faulty. Refunds are processed within 5 business days of the return arriving, or immediately on proof of postage for a £2 fee.
How do I care for a jelly bag?
Both TPU and PVC are wipe-clean. Use a soft, damp cloth with mild soap if needed, then dry with a clean cloth. Avoid solvents, alcohol-based cleaners and direct heat. Store away from prolonged direct sunlight to preserve the colour, especially for the translucent finishes.
