blue jelly bags
Part of the jelly bags hub.
Blue is the jelly shade that reads like water — which is exactly why it suits a glossy translucent bag better than almost any other colour. It splits into two moods: translucent blue, the see-through pool-water finish, and the paler robin's-egg light blue, which behaves like a pastel neutral. Different jobs, both unmistakably summer.
Translucent blue vs light blue
- Translucent blue. See-through, glassy, the most literal "jelly" of the blues. Contents show — style them with a pouch — and in sunlight it genuinely reads like water. The beach-and-pool pick.
- Light blue (robin's-egg). A soft, milky blue-green that sits in the pastel family with mint and pink — calmer, more neutral, easier to wear daily.
The see-through question is the same trade-off that runs through the category — see translucent vs opaque.
What blue pairs with
- White and cream — crisp, nautical, the no-thought summer default.
- Denim — double-denim plus a glossy blue bag works because the bag reads as the brighter cousin of the same family.
- Warm neutrals — tan, camel and butter yellow give the classic pastel contrast; blue is the coolest anchor in the palette.

Both blues live in the structured bucket shape, in UV-stable TPU: the see-through translucent blue and the pale robin's-egg light blue. Because the translucent one shows its contents, it also sits in the clear jelly bags edit — and it's the shade our beach & holiday page uses as its poster colour for a reason. Every shape and shade is on the jelly bags hub.
