yellow jelly bags
Part of the jelly bags hub.
A yellow jelly bag is a glossy, saturated sunshine-yellow handbag in solid plastic — the loudest, happiest corner of the jelly palette. Yellow has become the optimism shade of 2026: butter yellow led the spring runways, and the brighter sunshine end of the spectrum followed it onto street-style feeds. Ours is the saturated glossy PVC take — opaque, high-shine and unmistakably deliberate.
What goes with a yellow bag
Yellow is easier to wear than its reputation suggests, because it flatters the things most wardrobes are already built on:
- Denim. The single most reliable pairing — every wash from bleached to indigo makes yellow look intentional rather than loud.
- White and cream. Yellow warms up an all-white outfit and keeps it from reading flat; in summer this is the easiest combination there is.
- Navy. The classic high-contrast pairing — yellow against navy is crisp, nautical and hard to get wrong.
- Pastels / Y2K. Stack it with mint, baby pink or lilac for the full pastel look — see our Y2K jelly bags guide.
Butter yellow or sunshine yellow?
The two yellows of the moment read very differently in person. Butter yellow — the pale, creamy, low-saturation shade — behaves almost like a pastel neutral and melts into cream, tan and other pastels; it was the breakout bag colour of the 2026 shows (see trending bag colours 2026). Sunshine yellow — fully saturated and warm — is the opposite move: one deliberate pop of colour against an otherwise simple outfit. Our yellow jelly bags sit firmly at the sunshine end: glossy, opaque and saturated, so the bag carries the outfit rather than blending into it.
Yellow bags at jelli.world
We make yellow in two shapes, both in glossy opaque PVC. The scalloped yellow bucket bag (£50) is the roomy everyday option at 35 × 25 × 14 cm, and the long, low yellow East West shoulder bag (£40, 35 × 19 × 15 cm) is the lowest-priced way into the shade. Both are in stock and ship next day, worldwide. Browse every shape and shade from the jelly bags hub.
