Questions

What is a jelly bag?

A bag moulded from a glossy, flexible plastic, so it can be translucent or solid and wipes clean. Ours come in two: firm TPU, which holds its shape, and soft, glossy PVC. Both are vegan throughout.

TPU or PVC: which should I choose?

TPU is firmer and more abrasion-resistant, and comes in translucent colours as well as solids. PVC is softer, glossier, opaque only and cheaper. Both are water-resistant rather than waterproof: splashes and sunscreen wipe off, but the seams aren't sealed. Store either out of direct sun.

What sizes are there?

The 35cm tote is 35 × 25 × 14 cm. The East West shoulder bag is 35 × 19 × 15 cm.

How much is delivery, and how long does it take?

Delivery to New Zealand is free on every order. Orders ship from our stock in Sydney, dispatched the next business day, and take 4–10 business days door to door.

Will I pay customs duty or GST on delivery?

Normally, no. New Zealand doesn't collect duty or GST at the border on goods worth NZ$1,000 or less, and GST on low-value imports is charged at checkout only by overseas sellers registered for it — those selling more than NZ$60,000 a year into New Zealand, which we are not. A typical order sits far below NZ$1,000. Thresholds are set by the New Zealand Customs Service and can change.

What currency are the prices in?

Pounds sterling. Where our payment provider offers it, checkout can charge the total in New Zealand dollars instead, at its own exchange rate, which includes a conversion fee. Payments are processed by our UK company, so some cards add an international transaction fee.

Can I return something?

Yes, within 14 days of delivery, unused and in its original condition. Email hello@jelli.world and we send the return address; return postage is at your cost unless the item is faulty or we sent the wrong one.
