press & media
Everything a journalist needs, on one page.
The brand in three sentences
jelli.world is an independent accessories brand making jelly bags — glossy translucent and opaque handbags in TPU, the firmer, UV-stable successor to the PVC jellies of the 90s. The range is three silhouettes (a structured bucket, a slim baguette, a long low East West shoulder bag, £140–£180) plus plush animal bag charms. Everything ships worldwide, hand-packed and dispatched the next business day.
Story angles we can support with data or product
- People photograph pastels, buy neutrals. Our colour report ranks every colourway by real units sold (N=105) — the first public sales-ranked colour data for the jelly category. Navy outsells every translucent shade combined. Free to cite, CC BY 4.0; underlying numbers available.
- The jelly bag's second summer. Northern coverage ends the trend in August; the southern hemisphere's season starts in November with Christmas mid-summer — see Summer in December.
- The wet-weather sleeper. The category's most underrated property is that TPU shrugs off rain that ruins leather — the counter-seasonal case in rainy day bags.
- Category explainers. We maintain what we believe is the most complete plain-English guide library on jelly bags — materials, history, care, the Melissa lineage — all at /guides.
Imagery
High-resolution packshots (background-removed, square) exist for every colourway, plus on-body photography for most lines. DM us for the folder — credit "jelli.world" and we're happy.
